Joe Cada

Joe Cada, 2009 WSOP main event Champion At an age of 22, Joe Cada is considered amongst the most ambitious players in the world of poker. He has been playing the game for more than 6 years. He has turned into someone having a great knowledge of the game. If you go by his winnings till date, you would find him to be counted amongst the youngest poker millionaire in the world at this moment. Joe Cada (short for Joseph Cada) is actually known across the world as the winner of WSOP Main Event in 2009.

After joining the Macomb Community College, Cada lost interest in studies and decided to discontinue it. This was the time, when he decided to turn his attention towards the world of poker, which was his hobby. Initially, he lost a considerable sum, as he was not able to put up the standard needed to compete against the best in the world. However, his hobby turned into an obsession for winning and he wanted to fulfill all his dreams with the winnings of the game. Once he started winning, he knew the glory was not far off. He became the member of WSOP 2009, when he was about to be 22.

Prior to the main event, Joe was able to cash twice. He was 64th in a USD 2,500 No Limit event and 17th in the USD 1,500 No Limit event. When he won the WSOP Main Event, he became the youngest player to have accomplished the feat in the history of the game. He defeated the likes of Jeff Shulman and Phil Ivey on the way. In the finals, he made Darvin Moore to submit and took home a sum of USD 8,547,042 of prize money from the event. Prior to this event, Joe Cada had a debt of USD 150,000 and needed a financial backing to participate in the tournament.

Joe Cada's overall earnings till date is USD 8,574,649. He is looking forward to buy a new flat in Vegas, so you can expect him to break more records in the coming future.
