World Series of Poker 2009

Antoine Saout

Antoine Saout A 25-year old French native, Antoine Saout, is one of the stars of the game. He was a part of the elite November Nine Group of 2009, which made it to the WSOP main event finals. His excellent play earned him the third position on the table and allowed him to take home a cash prize of USD 3.5 million. He also has the record of being amongst the only 3 players in the world of poker, who have been able to sit on the finals of both WSOPE ME and WSOP ME during a single year. Ivan Demidov and James Akenhead are the other two players.

Antoine studied engineering during his school days in France. He was able to a main event seat in Everest Poker (a Popular Poker Website). He was amongst the many Frenchmen, who played well in the WSOP 2009 event. The others include Ludovic Lucay and Elky Grospellier.

Antoine was able to prove the world that there was no one-hit wonder about him. He was also able to make it to the WSOPE 2009 finals in London. He finished seventh and tool home a considerable amount of £114,228. He did face trouble in facing the experts in the game, as he was without much experience in the game. Still, his final position was quite good. Again, his hard work was easily visible, as he was able to get a place in the elite November Nine Group at WSOP 2009.

The main event run, which the player has got in a short period of time, is going to make the game more popular in France. With little experience in the world of poker, Antoine Saout has done a commendable job in his time in this world, as he has an overall earning of close to USD 4million.
